Where is it? It’s a question that I’ve struggled with for a long time now, and I never know how to properly answer “Where are you from?” Born in East Lansing, lived in Rockville, Overland Park, Chesterfield, and Lexington. Usually it’s a run down of the states though - Michigan, Maryland, Kansas, Missouri, Massachusetts.
I remember there was a point where I...

Humor me
People laugh when they hear this, but at one point in middle school, I wanted to be a comedian. Sometimes I feel like what’s just as important to me as making an impact on people is making people laugh. Then again, I guess making people laugh means I made an impact on some level. But anyway, that’s probably why I like telling people that I once wanted to be a comedian.
Sense of humor is an...
This is…pretty much me in Taiwan!
I also can’t believe I started an Asian drama again…great.
Blast to the past
I randomly decided to plug in my old iPod mini that was completely dead as of 4 years ago…or so I thought. Giving it a full charge actually worked, and I saw all the songs that I used to listen to. It’s incredible! The iPod mini is now extinct, but it was created less than 10 years ago. This is really a sign of just how fast technology is improving.
Second Half
Of the second year of college, and of college. It’s the second half of a sports game that usually ends up being exciting. Games that come down to the wire. Celtics and their comebacks? Spartans marching back from a 17 point deficit against the Wildcats? All of that happens in the second half, and boy will this be a tough one.
This upcoming semester alone, I’m facing the most...

"Resolutions" 2011
The problem with resolutions is that most of the time, you’re the only one to hold yourself to them, and with the added fact that people come up with hundreds of excuses for themselves not to do things, you come up with a corollary that says many resolutions get left unfulfilled.
So what are my New Year’s Resolutions?
1. Continue being a TAFer, even if I don’t go to TAF. Being a servant leader is...
Omh
(Ow, my head = facepalm/headdesk)
A year ago, I was in a really bad place – I didn’t even come up with resolutions because I was so stuck on being heartbroken. Oh darn my Ted Mosby side. I’m going to have to say that 2010 was a good year though. I’ve definitely grown, and taken on some difficult situations head on.
Top 10 Highlights (chronological)
1. Meeting and working with plenty of awesome...
The color quiz
Now for an actual “look into my mind”
So I usually don’t do things like this because most of the time it’s an “applicable to everyone” type of thing, but I took a personality quiz the other day, found via Donna’s blog and the results were spot on.
I figured it would be a good second stepping stone, with the whole year ahead and all.

To all my friends around the world right now, Happy New Year!
It’s always around this time of year that I have a series of wrap-up posts, and a series of looking-forward posts. I haven’t been around my computer much, but I still value taking the time to reflect and project.
As part of this whole, “entering into the new year” ordeal, I invite people to share a few...
